Colorado River Day Trip (Class I - II)
A RELAXING AND SCENIC FLOAT TRIP! Our Upper Colorado River tour runs through Little Gore Canyon, offering opportunities for exploring hot springs, Miner's cabins, and a stagecoach road. Inflatable kayaks are available upon request. This is a perfect day trip for families and those who wish to enjoy a scenic river experience.

Colorado River Multi-Day - Little Gore Canyon (Class I - II)
Join us for a two or three-day adventure floating the legendary Colorado River, which starts just above Little Gore Canyon. This is one of the first boatable sections of this lengthy and storied river. Alpine scenery, historic points, hot springs and milder whitewater make this a great family trip, all within an easy drive from Denver. The trip is a mixture of mellow floating combined with easy class I and II rapids. The Colorado River Overnight is a perfect trip for families and those looking for days filled with beauty and relaxation. We offer this trip in oar or paddle rafts. We also have the option of inflatable kayaks or "duckies" for the more adventurous.
With all our overnight trips, we provide all camping equipment, tasty, nutritious meals prepared by your Kokopelli guides, and everything you need for an outdoor experience you will always remember. This trip has limited availability; so please call early for dates and reservations.

The Colorado River Meeting Time and Place:
Pumphouse Launch Site: Go north from I-70 on Hwy. 9 approximately 34.1 miles to a dirt road marked "Pumphouse", turn left and go 10.5 miles to the next sign for Pumphouse and turn right. Go 1.3 miles to the parking area where you will find our boats and van marked Kokopelli Rafting.
If you are coming from Kremmling, go south out of town on Hwy. 9 and cross the Colorado River. After you climb the hill from the river and come out of the highway cut, turn right on the dirt road with the Pumphouse sign. Follow the directions above from there.
